The Lake Phuket Elephant Home is a sanctuary
dedicated to rescuing domestic elephants from
harsh labor conditions and providing them with a safe, loving environment.
Our mission is to make a difference by educating
visitors about elephant care, welfare, and the
importance of ethical tourism. At our sanctuary, elephants can live freely and happily, away from
the hardships they once faced. We offer ethical tours where guests can observe and learn about these gentle giants in a respectful and responsible
way, fostering a deeper understanding of their
natural behaviors and needs. Our home is not just
a place for elephants-it is a place of compassion,
learning and meaningful change.

Beautiful experience with elephants and their lovely caretakers. We prepared sugare canes and vitamin balls whitch we fed them and walk with them in surrounding area. I recommend for everyone who visits Phuket.

Was für eine unglaublich schöne und unvergessliche Erfahrung! 💚🐘 Man spürt sofort, dass es den Elefanten hier richtig gut geht und sie mit ganz viel Liebe und Respekt behandelt werden. Unser Tourguide Tod war einfach großartig! Mein Freund und ich waren am Anfang alleine mit ihm, und er hat sich viel Zeit für uns genommen. Er hat alles mit so viel Freude erklärt, war unglaublich lieb, geduldig und herzlich. Später kamen noch zwei weitere Personen dazu, sodass wir insgesamt nur zu viert mit einem Guide waren – perfekt! Wir durften die Elefanten füttern und das Essen selbst schneiden. Die Elefanten konnten dabei frei herumlaufen, was das Erlebnis noch viel besonderer und natürlicher gemacht hat. Danach durften wir die Elefanten waschen, was super viel Spaß gemacht hat und gleichzeitig eine tolle Abkühlung war 😄 Tod hat uns danach noch sooo viele spannende Infos und Fakten über Elefanten erzählt. Es war extrem interessant, sein Englisch war wirklich sehr gut, und man hat gemerkt, wie sehr er seinen Job liebt. Er hatte für jeden Einzelnen von uns Zeit. Als wäre das alles nicht schon genug gewesen, hat er uns zum Schluss sogar eine Zeichnung geschenkt, die er selbst gemalt hat 🥺 Wie süß ist das bitte?! Der Preis war jeden Cent wert! Ich kann dieses Elephant Sanctuary von Herzen empfehlen – so liebe Menschen, eine wunderschöne Atmosphäre und so glückliche Elefanten. Ein absolutes Highlight unserer Reise! 💚🐘✨

Fantastic experience! There was a great walk with the elephants and bath. Great small group experience! Tour guides were fantastic as well. Meal at the end made it great
