The Lake Phuket Elephant Home is a sanctuary
dedicated to rescuing domestic elephants from
harsh labor conditions and providing them with a safe, loving environment.
Our mission is to make a difference by educating
visitors about elephant care, welfare, and the
importance of ethical tourism. At our sanctuary, elephants can live freely and happily, away from
the hardships they once faced. We offer ethical tours where guests can observe and learn about these gentle giants in a respectful and responsible
way, fostering a deeper understanding of their
natural behaviors and needs. Our home is not just
a place for elephants-it is a place of compassion,
learning and meaningful change.

We paid 800 baht each to feed two elephants. The elephant's looked well fed and content and our guide was friendly and informative. You pay more if you want to wash them. All money is supposed to go to the elephant's welfare.
